dT news

Hello fellow gaming enthusiasts.

It has been quite some time since the last news post. The remaining team members have been keeping a low profile since Q4 let us all down.

I have been playing Company of Heroes awaiting the release of ET Quakewars.

Jon aka Judge, is still active in the Q4 and Q3 communities also awaiting Quakewars.

Some of us are still continuing school and gaming in between. A select few are still hanging around in hopes something formulates soon.

I am going to try to become more active maintaining the news now that my schedule has loosened a bit.

Please stop by and say hello. We are still keeping the various irc dT channels alive.

Team news

The team is starting to form and become consistant. deathTouch finally added two new players to the team. This will certainly induce our gaming activity.

We have begun to scrimmage a lot more this past week. The team has shown considerable improvement. Most of us have been away from fps games so Quake 4 was a rude awakening.

dT News

dT celebrated their first match win this week in Quake 4 CAL preseason.

Much like RTCW, strat and player positioning will be key to success.

It is nice to see the team gradually progressing.

A new version of the competition mod Q4max is out along with a new Quake 4 patch. I am glad id is constantly improving the game and it's play.

First week of match play Quake 4

dT jumped right into the GGL Americup 2 tournament and got bitch slapped. Quite the experience. The team and I are really looking forward to the following tournament weeks to come.

This week we are going to start scrimmaging more so we can be better prepared for our next match. What a change from RTCW.

dT and Quake 4

It is nice to be playing again.

CAL and GGL will be the main focus.

dT was fortunate enough to get into the GGL Americup 2 Quake 4 tournament which will start on Dec 5th followed by CAL TDM on Dec 7th.

Some old schoolers will be back playing once again. Nice to see Kato and Sam playing again along with Specter and Adikted.

If any teams are interested in a scrimmage, please stop by irc.quakenet.org channel #deathTouch to schedule a time, or make a request in the dT forums.
